The Hillview Golf Course project encompasses the base bid contract work along with Alternate #1 for the renovation and enhancement of specific golf course features across Holes 11, 12, 13, 14, and 18. The scope of work includes the following key tasks:
Base Bid Contract:
Tee Renovation and Additions: Renovation or addition of new teeing grounds on Holes 12, 14, and 18, including new or revised irrigation systems to support these areas.
Pathway Improvements: Removal of existing asphalt or gravel paths at Hole 13, followed by the installation of new recycled asphalt and asphalt paths on the same hole.
Bunker Renovation and Additions: Renovation of existing bunkers and construction of new bunkers at Holes 11, 12, and 13 to improve playability and aesthetics.
Fairway Expansion: Expansion of fairways at Holes 11, 12, and 13 to enhance the course layout and playing experience.
Irrigation Modifications: Modifications and additions to the irrigation system at Holes 12, 14, and 18 to ensure proper water distribution.
Drainage Improvements: Installation of drainage enhancements at Holes 12, 13, 14, and 18 to address water management and prevent flooding.
Fill and Loam Placement: Import and placement of fill and loam as directed to support grading and surface preparation.
Incidental Work: Additional related tasks, including provision of all labor, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to complete the specified work, as shown on the drawings.
Alternate #1 - Hole #18 Back and Middle Tee Renovation:
Turf Removal: Removal and disposal of 15,000 square feet (SF) of existing turf from the rear and middle tees at Hole 18.
Topsoil Management: Management of existing topsoil, including stripping, stockpiling, and reinstallation as needed.
Earthwork and Shaping: Earthwork to lower the rear tee and expand the middle tee to the right, followed by shaping of both tees to subgrade.
Irrigation Modifications: All necessary adjustments and modifications to the irrigation system to accommodate the renovated tees.
Material Installation: Provision and installation of 160 tons of 70:30 tee root zone mix, 200 linear feet (LF) of Erosion Control Barrier (ECB), soil amendments, 6,000 SF of tee sod, and 9,000 SF of rough sod.
Surface Preparation: Laser leveling of tee subgrade and finish surface, along with soil preparation to ensure a smooth and stable playing surface.
This scope of work aims to enhance the functionality, drainage, and visual appeal of Holes 11, 12, 13, 14, and 18 at Hillview Golf Course.
