NEPTUNE, NJ – The Monmouth County Park System has awarded an extensive bunkers and tees renovation project at the municipal 18-hole Shark River Golf Course to Turco Golf Inc. of Pompton Lakes, NJ. The project calls for bunker improvements to holes 6, 7, 8, 15 and 16, as well as new tees at hole 16. The project aims to build on recent course improvements by the Monmouth County Park System.
TOTOWA, NJ – The historic Dey Mansion Museum property is undergoing a garden restoration project. The project scope calls for removal of the site’s existing furnishing, garden ornamentation, paving, shrub plantings, and soils. The garden will be fully restored with new tree plantings, shrubs and flower beds. New pedestrian walkways and benches will also be installed.
DERBY, CT – After several years of planning, construction is set to begin on the Derby High School Athletic Facilities Renovation Project located in Derby, CT. The project scope calls for removal of the school’s existing athletic fields and facilities, and the installation of a new synthetic turf athletic field and natural grass softball field.

NORWALK, CT — Teeing off at the first hole at Oak Hills Park Golf Course now requires a look through a periscope to ensure that the fairway is clear.
The low elevation of the tee box prevents golfers from seeing all the way to the green and hole.
That will change after the Norwalk Common Council on Tuesday evening approved a $980,413 contract with Turco Golf Inc., to build the first phase of improvements as laid out in the Oak Hills Park Authority Master Plan.

ROCKY HILL - Construction of the new Miracle Field at Elm Ridge Park located in Rocky Hill, Connecticut commenced last week. Construction crews are on presently on the construction site and Lead Estimator, Adam Horton of Turco Golf expects the project to move along and wrap up rather quickly. Project updates will be posted as they are available.
After months of construction, school officials say South Windsor High School's new stadium should be finished at the end of next month.
Director of Facility Operations Patrick Hankard said Tuesday that the installation of the artificial turf field and the upgrades to the surrounding track have gone very smoothly since work started in June. Hankard said so far, everything is on track to be completed by the end of September.
After completing a renovation job at Norwalk Middle School in Connecticut, Turco Golf will mobilize to another job site located in the state: South Windsor High School track & field renovations are under way.
Short Hills, NJ - Following a year-long closure, the East Orange Golf Course on Parsonage Hill Road in Short Hills will reopen on Saturday, May 23, 2015. Nine holes (the original back nine) will be open for play initially during renovation, with all 18 holes being available beginning July 4th weekend.
The restoration of East Orange Golf Course is scheduled for completion in late 2015. The course has been open for play during the summer and fall while the project is being completed. Located in Short Hills in the Township of Millburn, the course was originally designed by Tom Bendelow, an architect renowned for making golf accessible and affordable for the public.
