Bunker Restoration Project, Scope of Work:

Base Bid Items:

  • Renovation or removal of existing bunkers and the addition of new bunkers on holes 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 15 & 16.

  • Expansion and/or reduction of fairway and rough areas adjacent to proposed bunker work.

  • Re-construction of tees on hole 16.

  • Removal of existing and installation of new asphalt path on hole 16.

  • Installation of erosion protection as described in plans.

Alternate Items:

  • Renovation of hole 16 green-side bunker.

  • Provision and installation of new irrigation for the 16th tee area.

  • Renovation of hole 9 fairway bunker.

  • Addition of hole 16 right fairway bunker.

Turco Golf Inc. to complete all existing turf and bunker sand removal, topsoil stripping, grading, excavating, filling, shaping, backfilling, loaming, finish work and drainage.

Scope of Work: This project includes selective demolition, including removal of the existing natural grass athletic field and cinder track, athletic facility building, press box building, natural grass baseball field and bleachers. Construction includes installation of a new synthetic turf athletic field, a natural grass softball field, netting, fencing, new rubberized running track, press box, bleacher modifications, lighting relocation and miscellaneous site improvements.

Project Scope: The scope of work for Clinton Country Club's renovations include the restoration of green-side and fairway bunkers on holes 10 through 18. The bunker surrounds will be stripped of sod and all bunker sand will be removed and excavated. Rough and finish shaping of each bunker will be required and new drainage pipes and fittings will be installed. Each bunker will have liner material installed with new bunker sand installed. Sodding of the bunker surrounds will repair the areas adversely affected by construction. In all there are 36 green-side and fairway bunkers scheduled for completion.

In addition to the bunker work, the tee box at hole 13 is also scheduled to be re-done. Many of the same construction trades will be utilized to complete the tee renovation including: earthwork, shaping, drainage, irrigation, topsoil management, seedbed preparation and feature sodding.
